- Attend discovery workshops and fact-finding meetings to consult and record client requirements for credit risk related projects.
- Use the tools provided within the Moody’s credit risk assessment and origination software to undertake, among others the:
- development and/or enhancement of financial spreading grids used to collect information from companies’ financial statements.
- development of credit risk assessment models.
- development of custom reports required by client banks.
- development of credit-assessment and origination workflows.
- Provide knowledge transfer workshops to client-banks.
- Excellent academic qualifications: a BSc degree, and ideally an MSc degree, in a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) or in Economics or Finance.
- An aptitude for Information Technology concepts and a working knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g. SQL, R, Python).
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Have good motivation, time management and self-management skills. We expect each member in our team to take initiatives ensuring that all deliverables are completed to a high standard in a timely manner.
- Willingness to learn the currently available tools but also new concepts and tools as they develop over time.
- Excellent communication skills:
- You will need to be able to communicate with key stakeholders within our client-banks, both verbally and in writing.
- You will, therefore, need to be fluent in English and have excellent writing skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and succinct manner.
- 1-2 years of experience in an analytical role (gained, for example, within a bank’s Risk, Finance/Regulatory or MIS departments or at a consulting firm) would be a plus
The position is based in Larnaca, Cyprus, and will involve some travelling within the countries in the region that RiskMatrix covers.
